Hojicha Apple Muffins

Tasty Apple Muffins with Hojicha Powder


- 2 cups wholemeal flour

- 15g Hojicha Tea Powder

- 100ml vegetable oil (you may use any other oil)

- 30 tbsp sugar

-  1 tbsp vinegar

- 200 ml water

- 1 small apple

- 1 tsp baking powder

- hint of cinnamon


1. Pre-heat oven to 180C. 

2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, Hojicha Powder, Baking Powder, Sugar and Cinnamon.

3. Add oil, water and vinegar.

4. Peel apple, cut into small pieces and add into dough.

5. Add a bit of oatmeal flakes if you like.

5. Fill muffin cups about 3/4rds full.

6. Bake 20-25mins.
