Apple Ginger Rooibos

4 serves


1 apple, cored and diced plus 4 thin slices to garnish

½ tsp grated ginger

800 ml boiling water

3 tbsp rooibos tea


1. Place the apple and grated ginger in a teapot. Pour over some water to cover ingredients and put aside to infuse.

2. Place the rooibos leaves in a separate teapot, add the remaining water, and infuse for 6 min.

3. Mix two infusions and leave for 1 minute.

Strain into cups or mugs, and serve with an appla slice garnish in each.
